Bluebeam XCON - Global User Conference

Each year, more than 1200 Bluebeam customers gather for four days to experience our brand, our products, and the best speakers the industry has to offer. The event was formerly known as the “Bluebeam eXtreme Conference” although commonly known to all as XCON. In 2018, we made the decision to modernize the event branding, by shortening the name to Bluebeam XCON and transitioning our conference branding to be more city-based than just Bluebeam-based. In 2019, we hosted our conference in Washington D.C. and our visual branding featured a marriage of industry imagery and city landmarks. It was a fun challenge each year to reinvent the conference and our look, while staying true to the Bluebeam brand. We extended our branding across all customers touch points, from welcome badges and room keys to wayfinding and video components. Bluebeam’s Customer Engagement team were the masterminds behind this wonderful event and gave myself and the Creative team a blank canvas to do our best work.
Results: Our inclusive imagery, showcasing all the various people, roles, and aspects of the industry was well received by countless social posts and goodwill for our many guests.
My role: I led the Creative concepting and team who produced all aspects of print, digital, and video work. I was the design liaison between our company the venue and our various vendors. I also worked closely with the Executive to design the keynote program.
All work was done in-house by Bluebeam’s exceptional Creative team.
