Bluebeam Videos

Bluebeam made a commitment to video long before I arrived, so I had the enviable task to evolve their already great video team. I was able to expand the team’s range by hiring a Sr. Motion Graphics Designer as well as two additional Video Producers. This team was able to increase the frequency at which we were releasing industry-best video content. We focused on telling engaging human stories of struggle and triumph rather than just focusing on product features. The relatable content shone a new light on the AEC industry and has been on ofe the key differentiators for our brand. We also began, for the first time, promoting our videos via digital advertising as we continue to grow, learn, and improve our video execution. Our team now works with local teams across the World as we aim to cast a wider net on where and how we can shoot video. Below, you will find a small collection of video work from a range of subjects. The Video team at Bluebeam is a collection of some of the most talented and hard-working people I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with.
Results: On the brand side, video has been a game changer. It’s the most accurate portrayal of who we want to be and allows us to shine the light on the people of the industry. Our views have gone from low hundreds to more than 50k per piece often. We’ve been shared, liked, and have now collaborated with the B1M (the biggest Construction channel on YouTube). Finally, our engagement rate is constantly over 85%, meaning our audience consistently stays and watches 85% of each video.
My Role: Set creative and tonal direction of all video content. I gave the team the mandate to “make each video better than the next,” and by getting out of their way so they could do what they do best, the managed to hit this goal time and time again.
All work was done in-house by Bluebeam’s exceptional Creative team.
